A unique escape to reconnect with nature and each other in a beautiful mountain resort setting

IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION

Big Bear ROMP 2020 Weekend is moving forward because your overwhelming opinion was:  you want us to move forward – even with modified activities:

  • More than 85% of respondents want to proceed with plans for the weekend event
  • Most respondents like the idea of increasing outdoor recreational activities (80%) for the weekend
  • Many respondents encouraged us to “think outside the box” with new activity concepts

Another key request:  You want options, and we listened, so we are modifying our purchased pass policy:  Passes purchased for BBR 2020 can be used for either the 2020 event or Big Bear ROMP 2021, but not both.  This means that if you purchased a pass for 2020, but cannot attend for whatever reason, your weekend pass will be valid for a full weekend agenda in 2021.

Big Bear ROMP 2020

One of the key factors which makes Big Bear ROMP different from other events is that we are able to organize a variety of activities outdoors, which provide a safer experience for attendees and unique environments.   With more than 300 days of sunshine a year, Big Bear offers a boundless recreational playground to explore the natural beauty in your own way.   With this in mind, weekend plans will be geared toward helping attendees explore different types of activities around the lake and national forest, combined with a few select main activities at the Host Hotel, such as comedy night, bingo, naughty trivia, and more.

Health precautions that will be followed:

  • All activities will be held outdoors to take advantage of the health benefits of the natural environment
  • Complimentary face shields will be provided to all attendees and event staff
  • Temperature checks will be used throughout the weekend
  • Social distancing between unknown parties and limited venue capacities will be put into practice

Explore like never before!
